Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize CA-PEQ pages, or register with CA-PEQ site or services, a cookie helps CA-PEQ to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same CA-PEQ website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the CA-PEQ features that you customized. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the CA-PEQ services or websites you visit. Security of Your Personal InformationCA-PEQ has in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online. Do-Not-Track Signals and Similar Mechanisms. Some web browsers may transmit "do-not-track" signals to the websites with which the user communicates. Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them. Because there currently is no industry standard concerning what, if anything, websites should do when they receive such signals, CA-PEQ currently does not take action in response to these signals. If and when a final standard is established and accepted, CA-PEQ will reassess how to respond to these signals. International Transfers. The Services are headquartered in the United States. Please be aware that if information you provide to CA-PEQ or that CA-PEQ obtains as a result of your use of the Services may be collected in your country and subsequently transferred to the United States or to another country in accordance with applicable law.
